I paid @river_cafe_on_the_tyne a visit today and thought their belly pork roast dinner was absolutely stunning! Everything on the plate was cooked to perfection, which definitely made up for a bit of a long wait for food šŸ˜‹The North Shields Fish Quay looked so beautiful today too - how have you spent your Sunday?
It's coming up to the perfect time of year to visit some of the wonderful National Trust sites we have here in the North East of England! It's also coming up to the time where I need to renew my National Trust membership - there was no doubt in my mind that I was going to renew my annual pass, especially when I remembered all the fantastic days out I've had at different NT sites over the last year. If you're looking for something to do with the family this weekend - check out my latest blog post on my favourite NT sites across the North East! (link in bio) @nationaltrust @northeastnt
In this weeks leading up to Easter, you just have to try this Creme Egg cheesecake from @chaia_tea_bar šŸ˜ This gorgeous little tea bar, just off Gosforth High Street, serves up a fantastic selection of loose leaf teas, sandwiches and salads, and the tastiest sweet treats! It’s the perfect place to satisfy your sweet tooth šŸ°
Getting my Sunday off to a good start with a morning dog walk by the priory. Tynemouth is the place to be on a Sunday - there’s the Tynemouth market, a whole range of gorgeous coffee shops like @renesoftynemouth and @woods.coffee and of course, plenty of opportunities for fish and chips!
This week’s blog post is all about when I ticked @thalitray off my 2019 North East Bucket List! Thali Tray is Newcastle’s first craft brewery and Indian street food joint and it really is as good as it sounds and looks šŸ˜‹ Read all about their delicious Keralan curries, wonderful thali and the cracking @arch2brewpub IPA I had - check out my blog post (link in bio)
I’ve been spending so much time around Ouseburn recently - absolutely loving it! There are so many interesting buildings, murals and hidden corners. Not to mention the fantastic pubs in the area! What’s your favourite part of the Ouseburn Valley?
